New Role For Community In Pest Management
A new booklet on the feral animals of Tasmania would be an important resource in further enhancing the communitys role in pest management in the State, according to Primary Industries and Water Minister David Llewellyn.The Feral Animals of Tasmania publication was co-ordinated by the Threatened Species Network.
It provides a single, massage essential oils comprehensive guide to inform readers and empower them to assist in managing the impacts of pest animal species.
'Information is always the most critical resource in enabling people to play a role in important programs such as pest management,' Mr Llewellyn said.
'Prior to the availability of this publication, many people would not be aware of the potential threat many of these animal species pose and massage recliner chairs what role the general community can play in minimising their impacts on our way of life in Tasmania.
'Greater community awareness of these specieswhat people can do to report themprevent them establishing here or minimise their impacts will play a critical role in pest management programs.'
